Nuts and bolts typically have 2 types of “seat” (there are more, but these 2 are standard) – ball seat is commonly used on original wheels and wheel brands like Rotiform also use it.
In the first illustration below, you can see how the seat should fit in the wheel's contact surface – if it is angled, it is a “cone seat” – if the surface is rounded, a ball seat should be used.

When the product is specified as e.g. M12x1.25, the last number means that the thread pitch is 1.25 – it is often 1.5 or 1.25.
When measuring the length of your bolts and nuts, it is always the thread length that is referred to, i.e., if a wheel bolt is specified to be 27mm – it means that the thread length is 27mm. Additionally, bolts/nuts with longer heads can be obtained.
