Meguiars Grit Guard is intended for use with Meguiar's bucket. Meguiars Grit Guard is designed to prevent dirt from swirling around the water and will therefore remain on the bottom of the bucket.
In addition, you can dip your wash glove / sponge in a bucket and rub against the Gritt Guard, to release small particles of sand grains & dirt, which via this gather under the Gritt Guard.
Features and Benefits: Gritt Guard fits at the bottom of the bucket & reduces the dirt swirling around the wash water. Rub the wash glove against the Gritt Guard, to release the dirt from the wash glove so that damage to the varnish is avoided.
