VW Golf 8 19-

The Golf MK8, also known as the Golf VIII, is the eighth generation of Volkswagen's popular Golf model and replaces the previously super popular Golf 7 model. The car was introduced in Wolfsburg on October 24, 2019, and was first showcased to German dealerships in December 2019. The model year thus spans from 2020 and onwards.

The car is based on an updated MQB platform, which was also used for the Golf 7, and will similarly be used for the 4th generation Audi A3 and Seat Leon.

Golf 8 GTE, GTD, and GTI

The Golf 8 GTE model is a high-performance plug-in hybrid model with 241hp from a 1.4-liter TSI petrol engine. The GTD model is the new-classic GTI diesel version with a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 197hp and a massive 400Nm, while the GTI model uses an updated version of the legendary 2.0 TSI engine with 241hp and 370Nm. All models have the same bumpers and are practically identical in exterior with minor differences and other types of wheels.
