EBC Turbo Groove Brake Discs - GD2252.
The wider groove on the disc draws cold air over the disc which keeps both slices and bricks colder. They also repel dust, dirt and hot gases better than the narrower grooves that will eventually be filled with rust and thereby become less efficient.
The recessed holes break down the surface gases when slowing down from high speed, but does not weaken the disc as may be the case with pierced holes, this helps to reduce the risk of the slices becoming crooked or similar. with time or by hard brakes.
