EBC is a high-end brake manufacturer with a factory in England. Quality is paramount for their products, and both brake pads and discs undergo strict control and numerous tests.
EBC discs come in several variants. EBC works with everything from replacement OEM brakes to upgrade brakes that are only for track use. To find the right brakes for your car, it’s about looking at your needs, car, and driving style. Below we have briefly outlined what you should choose the different brake discs based on:
Thermally black coated brake discs of the highest quality. EBC strives to deliver premium discs to replace OEM discs. EBC Premium discs comply with the highest approval standards in the form of ISO approval with the highest requirements from the German TÜV.
Sharp quality control and high demands on their specifications ensure that you can safely rely on your EBC brakes. Each batch produced by EBC is tested in coating, dimensions, and materials, ensuring an extremely high standard and high quality.

EBC USR brake discs are finished in a dark grey. USR brake discs undergo the same quality control as Premium and all other discs, making them a high-quality product.
In addition to being grooved, the discs do not provide any further advantage over Premium discs unless used with some of EBC’s brake pads to reduce the friction surface.

Turbo Groove discs are EBC’s flagship for street use. They are approved and undergo strict quality control.
Turbo Groove are grooved discs with dimples, which help cool the discs and remove dust, dirt, and other impurities. The discs are anodized with gold zinc, which protects against corrosion on surfaces not in contact with the brake pads.
As with all sports discs, the noise is slightly higher than with traditional discs, but this typically decreases after 1500-2000 km.
For the best braking performance, discs are recommended in combination with Yellowstuff.

Floating discs are designed for racing, they are lightweight discs that are significantly lighter than traditional discs. This improves grip, sharper turn-in, fuel economy, and more HP at the wheel.
Floating discs are grooved to cool the surface as best as possible. Only the best raw materials and materials are used in production to ensure the best performance from the brakes. The outer friction ring consists of high copper – high carbon aluminum with an anodized finish for a sleek appearance and strong durability.
