The D2S xenon bulb is probably the most commonly used socket and is considered the 2nd generation xenon socket - the light output of a D2S bulb is approximately 3200lm and has a standard color temperature of about 4,200K.

D2S bulbs contain mercury, and this has been removed from newer generations - which also makes it important to dispose of D2S xenon bulbs correctly.

Remember that xenon bulbs change color over time - so we recommend changing them in pairs and keeping the 'old' one which you can appropriately use if one bulb blows.
