Guide: Facelift Your BMW 5-Series G30 Pre-LCI to LCI Front

The BMW 5-Series G30 was introduced in 2017, and in 2020 the model received a Facelift (LCI), where the front was updated with a sharper design, new headlights, and a more distinctive grille. If you own a BMW G30 pre-LCI (before Facelift) and want the modern look from the 2020+ model, you can upgrade your car with the right parts.

Which parts are needed?

To convert your BMW G30 pre-LCI to the facelift front, you will need the following:

• Upgrade headlight set – replaces the original pre-LCI headlights with the sharper LCI models.
• Upgrade grille insert holder – required to mount the new grille from the LCI version.
• Facelift grille (LCI 2020+) – choose between standard, Shadow Line, or M version depending on the desired look.
• Facelift front bumper – you are free to choose among the various design options (e.g., M-Sport or Luxury Line).
