There are different types of valves for alloy wheels that vary depending on function and material:

• Rubber valves: Traditional valves made of rubber that are flexible and easy to install. They are financial and are often used on standard tires, but may have a shorter life compared to metal valves.
  
• Metal valves: Made of aluminum or brass, these valves are more durable and resistant to higher pressure and temperatures, making them suitable for sports cars and vehicles with high performance.
  
• Hidden ValveR: A type of valve designed to be less visible, giving a more aesthetic appearance on alloy wheels. They are often used on Custom rims or high-performance vehicles.
• TPMS MHz valves: MHz TPMS valves send tire pressure and temperature data via radio frequency (315 MHz or 433 MHz). They can be made of either rubber or metal and are used in modern vehicles to ensure proper tire pressure and driving safety.
  
• TPMS diaper valves: Ble (Bluetooth Low Energy) TPMS valves use Bluetooth for wireless data transfer, providing faster and more accurate information. Used in newer vehicles from approx. 2020 onwards and is so far used primarily by Tesla.
